The mission of the Women’s Philanthropic Fund is to educate women in Monmouth and Ocean counties about the importance of heart health and to raise funds for heart programs, services, and technology at Meridian Health, which includes Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Southern Ocean Medical Center, and Bayshore Community Hospital.

Women's Philanthropic Fund makes community a priority
The members of the Women’s Philanthropic Fund (WPF) along with a sold out crowd of more than 150, raised more than $30,000 at their most recent event held November 7, 2011 at Restaurant Nicholas in Red Bank. These funds support WPF’s mission of educating the women of Monmouth and Ocean counties on the importance of heart health. This year, WPF is raising funds specifically to purchase vascular screening equipment to benefit the local community.
