- Vestibular Rehab/Balance Program offers an interdisciplinary approach to the assessment and treatment of balance and vestibular disorders. Our skilled therapists will be able to differentiate vestibular problems from balance deficits and provide the appropriate treatment. FREE balance screenings are available utilizing the Biodex Balance machine. (Point Pleasant, Brick)
- Pelvic Floor Dysfunction/Urinary Incontinence Program can play an integral role in the multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. Our services and treatments are based on the specific needs of each patient. We provide a conservative treatment approach in comfortable private treatment areas. We offer "state-of-the-art" equipment such as the NeoControl® Pelvic Floor Therapy System and the SRS Orion PC/12m System® biofeedback device. (Point Pleasant Beach, Jersey Shore)
- Aquatic Physical Therapy is offered at our Life Rehabilitation facility in Point Pleasant. Aquatic therapy has been proven beneficial for arthritis, fibromyalgia, back disorders, or any disorder requiring a gentle weightless environment for therapeutic exercises. - Lymphedema treatments are provided through the use of Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT). The goals of CDT are to reduce swelling, reduce the risk of infection, promote healthy tissue, and educate patients and caregivers in the long-term management of lymphedema. CDT involves manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging, therapeutic exercise, and education. This is provided by a certified CDT therapist. - MotionXcellence was founded as part of an effort to bring state of the art technology to the analysis of motion, so that athletes or injured / disabled persons would have a new tool to improve their condition and reach their potential. - Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) measures a workers physical capability. It consists of a battery of tests which focus on selected work tolerances. The evaluation includes monitoring and reporting performance including observation, measurement, reasoning, and judgment. (Point Pleasant)
