Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease of the central nervous system. It is thought to be an autoimmune disorder. Some individuals with MS may be mildly affected while others may lose their ability to write, speak, or walk - when communication between the brain and other parts of the body become disrupted.
Meridian Neuroscience neurologists, along with nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists can all be involved in an MS patient's care.
If you or someone you know is facing a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, we encourage you to join our online community and connect with other MS patients and family members.
