Sponsorships

Over the years, Meridian Health has been honored to offer support through charitable donations to a host of worthy organizations. Meridian also encourages our leaders, physicians, and employees to serve on a variety of boards and committees dedicated to improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods. As a socially conscious member of the community, Meridian focuses its charitable giving on the areas which it feels will be most effective. These areas include:

• Groups that promote awareness of health-related issues
• Community associations that help those in need obtain basic necessities, like food, clothing, and shelter
• Organizations that encourage young people to achieve their potential, use their imagination, and keep them safe from harm
• Social services that provide relief and counseling to those suffering from abuse
• Events that support such neighborhood activities as community festivals and walks

While Meridian wishes that we could say "yes" to everyone who seeks our support. Unfortunately, as a non profit organization, we can't. As such, each request we receive for a charitable contribution is carefully reviewed and evaluated. With this in mind, it is helpful to know that we are unable to support the following requests:

• Individuals (instead, we support organizations that help individuals)
• Political campaigns
• Taxpayer-supported agencies

Help Us Help You

All requests should be submitted in the form of a written letter on your organization's official letterhead and include the following information:

• Event date
• Details about the event and who will benefit from the proceeds
• A copy of your IRS 501(c)3 charity status
• Name, address, fax number, and telephone number of contact person

Please be as specific as possible about what you are requesting, keeping in mind that we do not make general donations. Rather, we ask that you list particular support opportunities, such as being a T-shirt sponsor for a walk or an underwriter for an event.
