Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine

The Jersey Shore Perinatal Institute provides Maternal Fetal Medicine services at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The multidisciplinary team includes:

• Five board certified/board eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• Perinatal nurses
• Genetic counselors
• Six ultrasound technicians

We serve the patients and physicians in Monmouth and Ocean counties

• 8,000 sonograms
• 5,000 patient visits per year

The Perinatal Institute offers a full range of consultative, diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional therapies to pregnant mothers and their fetuses.

• Preconceptual counseling
• Prenatal counseling
• State of the art 3-D and 4-D ultrasound
• Amniocentesis
• Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
• First trimester serum screening
• Second trimester serum screening
• Percutaneous umbilical blood sampling-intrauterine transfusion (PUBS-IUT)

Consultations and high definition sonograms are available at the main office listed below, as well as at Jersey Shore's partner hospitals, Riverview Medical Center and Ocean Medical Center.
