The Ann May School of Nursing Alumni Association was organized in 1910 through the sponsorship of Dr. Biddle H. Garrison. Through the efforts of the early alumni, the 24-hour day was changed to eight hours, salaries were increased, and new nursing opportunities were made available to graduates.
The Alumni Association, under the direction of Marie Isacson, continues to keep and update a database of all AMSON graduates. In addition, the Alumni Association sponsors an alumni scholarship program for team members of Meridian Health.
