Kathy Hahn, RN

As a high school student, Kathy became interested in the nursing field. Thirty-two years later, she’s still doing what she loves as a registered nurse in the Maternity Unit at Ocean Medical Center. Kathy began her career at Meridian as a staff registered nurse before she became a nurse manager. She also worked as a recruiter in Human Resources before assuming her current position at Ocean Medical Center.

Kathy says she thoroughly enjoys the whole experience of working in Maternity, from interacting with new parents to caring for their babies. “Meridian has given me the opportunity to do so many things – go back to school, raise a family, grow and learn in interesting positions,” she says. “Everything a nurse needs to excel in her career is right here at Meridian.”

Kathy loves to work out, go to the beach and read. She and her daughter volunteered at this year’s Boston Marathon, and her daughter will be going to college in Massachusetts. She tries to spend as much time as possible with her husband, and is looking forward to becoming a grandmother.
