Maggie Waite, RN

Talk about a family affair…Maggie’s parents were born at Riverview Medical Center. She was born at Riverview, and so were her three sons. That ‘family connection’ to Riverview says a lot about why Maggie has been a Riverview registered nurse for 25 years. “Nursing is the only thing I ever wanted to do,” Maggie notes. “And Riverview was the only place I ever wanted to work.”

Maggie has worked in the Same Day Surgery unit for the past 15 years. She feels strongly that Riverview nurses make a great difference in the care their patients receive. “Being at Riverview is a part of who I am as a person,” Maggie adds. “I get a great deal of satisfaction out of my ability to care for patients.”

Maggie has three sons, two of whom are in college. She enjoys watching her older sons compete in track meets, and traveling with her husband. But no matter where she goes, Riverview is always in her heart.
