Nuria Acosta-Dunn, RN

Nuria was looking to work in a fast-paced, intellectually-stimulating environment. She certainly found that environment in the Intensive Care Unit of Riverview Medical Center, where she has worked as a registered nurse for the past 16 years. “I love that everyday is different and I can make a difference in someone’s life everyday,” Nuria says.

A Meridian team member for the past 20 years, Nuria especially enjoys the close-knit family environment of the ICU. “My co-workers have become my second family,” she adds. “Riverview is like my second home.”

Outside of Meridian, Nuria enjoys bike riding, and spending time at the beach and local parks with her daughters. She’s also involved in fundraising for several national charities, and frequently participates in fundraising walks and bike rides.
