Residency and Fellowship Programs
Meridian Health is committed to educating the physicians of the future. Our best-in-class facilities, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center and Ocean Medical Center, offer outstanding opportunities through our residency and fellowship programs.

Jersey Shore University Medical Center offers fully approved residency and fellowship programs, including a total of 34 entry level residency program positions in Categorical Medicine, General Dentistry, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Preliminary Medicine. Additionally they offer a total of 4 fellowship program positions in Primary Care Sports Medicine (based on Pediatrics) and Geriatrics (based on Internal Medicine). Ocean Medical Center offers a total of two entry level residency program positions in Otolaryngology. This program is affiliated with the UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey. The program director is Thomas Brandeisky, D.O..
