Anna Navarrete

As the supervisor in the Technical Laboratory at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Anna may be among the very first people to know what’s wrong with a patient. Often, the work done in the hospital’s Lab is the first step in diagnosing a disease or life-threatening condition.

“We play a very important role in helping people find out what’s wrong with them,” says Anna, an 18 year Meridian Health team member. She became a supervisor in Jersey Shore’s Laboratory department seven years ago.

“One of the things I really love about Meridian is that they truly take care of their team members,” she says. “Meridian takes the time to find out how team members feel about things – our opinions really count.”

When she’s not spending time with her husband and daughter, Anna enjoys reading.
