Linda Bennett, Access Services

Linda is an Access Services representative at Riverview Medical Center, a position she has held for the past 18 years. A former employee of the Social Security Administration, Linda says she loves dealing with people and helping them whenever possible. Her job brings her in close contact with patients who need to be admitted to Riverview, often coming through the Emergency Department. In some instances, Linda works with the nursing units to find open beds in order to admit patients. “I love the people I work with, and wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world,” says Linda. “My co-workers and I do everything possible to meet the needs of our patients, and I find that commitment to team work throughout Meridian.” Linda enjoys spending time with her family, which includes visiting her son in California. She and her husband have three grandchildren and another grandchild on the way. Linda spends her leisure time walking and biking.
