Mike Franzone, RD

When Mike was diagnosed with Type I diabetes, it started him thinking about how he might be able to help others afflicted with the disease. Today, as a registered dietician at Riverview Medical Center, Mike has the opportunity to educate patients with diabetes and other health problems about their diets and making proper food choices.

Mike joined Meridian in September 2006, and feels that his decision to work at Riverview was the right choice for him. “I feel right at home here with the hospital’s friendly atmosphere and positive work environment,” he adds.

When he’s not working, Mike likes to work out and go to the beach. He hangs out with family and friends, and enjoys traveling.
