PULMONARY REHABILITATION SUPPORT GROUP SCHEDULED FOR MAY 17
Neptune, NJ - On Thursday, May 17, Jersey Shore University Medical Center is hosting a Pulmonary Support Group at the Ambulatory Care Center, Cardiopulmonary Rehab Unit, 1945 Route 33, Neptune. All patients undergoing pulmonary rehabilitation or experiencing pulmonary health issues are invited to join Jersey Shore’s established support group, which meets on the third Thursday of each month. Pulmonary rehabilitation for chronic constructive pulmonary disease combines a number of different therapies to help reduce your symptoms, improve quality of life, and encourage your active participation in your treatment. As those participating in pulmonary rehabilitation are trying to achieve long and short term goals, this group is beneficial because it offers the support, advice, and understanding of those going through the same thing. To register, call the Meridian HealthLine at 1-800-660-9990.
