RIVERVIEW MEDICAL CENTER TO HOST PROGRAM ON STABILIZING BLOOD SUGAR

Red Bank - On Wednesday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Riverview Medical Center will be hosting a program called "Better Health with Stable Blood Sugar" at Red Bank Senior Center, 80 Shrewsbury Ave., Red Bank.

Recent studies have indicated that all individuals, not just those with diabetes, need to maintain normal blood sugar/blood glucose levels because when they are high, there is an increased risk of developing diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some cancers.

At this free program, a registered dietician educator from Meridian Health will inform attendees about the proper diet and lifestyles that will help attain healthy blood sugar levels. To register, please call 1-800-560-9990.
