JERSEY SHORE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER CANCER CENTER TO HOST FREE SKIN CANCER SCREENINGS

Neptune, NJ - Jersey Shore University Medical Center is inviting all members of the community to attend a free skin cancer screening on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Jersey Shore, 1945 State Route 33, Neptune.

The American Cancer Society predicts that in 2007 over 900,000 people will get skin cancer, either melanoma or non-melanoma. Non-melanoma cancer is contained in the basal cells, so it is unlikely to spread to other areas of ones body.

Sunscreen and refreshments will be provided to all those who attend.

To register, call the Meridian Health Line at 1-800-560-9990.
