HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR PLANNED FOR SEPTEMBER 4

Neptune, NJ - Meridian Health, comprised of Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, and K. Hovnanian Children?s Hospital, and many partner companies, is partnering with Freehold Regional High School District and LDP Consulting Group, Inc., the district?s health benefits broker and consultant, and hosting a free health fair for the district on Tuesday, September 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The fair will be take place in the Freehold Township High School Gymnasium, 281 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold.

Those attending the health fair include district teachers, administrators, and ancillary staff, along with members of local senior centers. The district consists of schools from Colts Neck, Manalapan, Freehold Boro, Freehold Township, and Howell. More than 1500 people are expected to attend.

?The Freehold Regional High School District is pleased to partner with Meridian Health in offering our employees the opportunity to attend this beneficial health fair. Offering valuable initiatives, such as this one, helps create a great work place for our staff,? explained Ilse Whisner, public information coordinator of the district.

At the fair, Meridian Health will provide free blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat, and bone density screenings. Health information, demonstrations, and health care professionals will also be present. Each person attending will also receive a free gift and the opportunity to participate in a raffle.

Other exhibitors include LDP Consulting Group, Inc., a health benefits broker and consultant, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, medical and prescription insurance provider, Delta Dental Plan of New Jersey, and Spectera, a vision care benefit provider.
