Jean Griffin, Riverview Medical Center

Jean Griffin, a Red Bank resident, has been a proud member of Wise & Well for nearly two years. "Due to an injury I had to retire as a school bus driver earlier than I planned," says Jean. Although Jean takes frequent trips to visit family in England and loves to garden and spend time with her dogs, she knew she would need to find something to be involved in. "I was concerned that I would have a lot of free time and nothing to do…then I found Wise & Well."

"I was introduced to the Wise & Well program while visiting a sick friend at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. And I'm so glad that I was," says Jean. "Riverview Medical Center is my community hospital, and participating in the numerous programs and health screenings offered by the hospital has been a tremendous benefit to my health and well-being."

Jean credits the Wise & Well program for giving her great information from highly qualified physicians and other medical staff. She also enjoys the opportunity to establish new relationships with other Wise & Well members. "This is what I tell people about the program," says Jean.

"It takes me one sentence: Meridian is offering a wonderful service for seniors that I intend to take advantage of for many years to come, and I recommend you take advantage of it too."
