Balance and Vestibular Program
New solutions for balance problems or episodes of dizziness
Problems with balance or dizziness can disrupt your quality of life. Through the Balance and Vestibular Program at Meridian Life Rehabilitation, our skilled therapists help individuals return to a maximum level of functioning after an illness or injury. A team of experts work together to assess each individual suffering from balance and/or vestibular (inner ear) disorders, and develops a custom plan for treatment.
More Common Than You Might Think
Forty percent of people over age 40 experience dizziness or a balance problem at some point in their life. A common cause is a dysfunction within the inner ear. According to the Vestibular Disorders Association, dizziness is second only to lower back pain in the number of complaints that physicians treat.
