Meridian Health pioneered cartilage transplants, including chondrocyte re-implantation surgery for knee defects. We also have extensive experience in trauma surgery, helping patients with complex multiple traumas and spinal injuries.

Many Other Innovative Programs
Our Rehabilitation Program provides all therapy to the Meridian Home Care and Occupational Health programs, as well as service to schools throughout our two-county region. The program also offers extensive cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation that begins with patient education, continues through outpatient therapy, and ends with a customized fitness program. Educational programs for arthritis, osteoporosis, and chronic back pain, and wellness initiatives such as massage therapy, meditation, and yoga are also available.
