The Stroke Center At Riverview Medical Center Hosts Stroke Support Group Meetings

Have you or someone you love suffered a stroke? Has it impeded your daily life and routine? Life after a stroke can be difficult. There is no need to be alone through this very difficult time in your life.

At Riverview Medical Center we know that in order to recover both physically and emotionally from a stroke, it is very important to have someone to lean on. Therefore, the Stroke Center at Riverview Medical Center hosts Stroke Support Group meetings every second Tuesday of the month. Held at Riverview Medical Center in the first floor Administrative Conference Room at 3 p.m., upcoming meetings are scheduled for November 11, 2008; December 9, 2008; January 13, 2009; February 10, 2009; March 10, 2009 and April 14, 2009.

The Stroke Center at Riverview has met the highest industry standards and is accredited by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center,while Riverview Rehabilitation Center is the only acute rehabilitation center in Monmouth county that is CARF-accredited for treating stroke patients.
