Alert Ambulance Service Donates Three Vehicles To American Red Cross
Meridian Health partner, Alert Ambulance, donates three life saving vehicles to American Red Cross-Jersey Coast ChapterAlert Ambulance Service, a partner of Meridian Health, donated three ambulances to the American Red Cross-Jersey Coast Chapter located in Tinton Falls. This donation plays a critical role in disaster relief efforts by allowing specially trained Emergency Response Workers to provide care, shelter, food, and emotional support to individuals in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
"We are very pleased to be given the opportunity to reuse our Emergency Response vehicles through the American Red Cross-Jersey Coast Chapter," says Robert Davis, president, Alert Ambulance Service. "To know that these vehicles will continue to help people in our area is truly outstanding."
Davis presented the keys to Tara Kelly, Regional CEO, American Red Cross, and Leo Pratte, Chief Disaster and Logistics Officer, American Red Cross, along with the support of Steven Crawford, M.D., Medical Director, Meridian Occupational Health.
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization, shelters, feeds, and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.
