H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Offered January 13 at Ocean Medical CenterOcean Medical Center, located at 425 Jack Martin Boulevard in Brick, will offer free injectable H1N1 vaccines to community members on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has lifted the restrictions of who can be vaccinated. Therefore, anyone who would like to be vaccinated against H1N1 can do so. Vaccination doses are limited and will be given first-come, first-serve.
Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 9 and under are recommended to receive two doses, at least 4 weeks apart. Children seeking their second vaccination injection must have received their first H1N1 vaccination before December 16. Children who already received a first dose of LIVE nasal vaccine must get their second dose of LIVE vaccine as well. This will not be available at the medical center.
The vaccination clinic will be held in the Community Room, located in the medical center's main atrium. Free parking is available in the parking garage on the Route 88 side of the medical center.
