Jersey Shore University Medical Center Presents New Year New You Event On January 3

Start the New Year off right with free health screenings including, blood pressure, cholesterol, body composition and bone density, nutrition lectures and fitness information

It's easy to get off track of a normally healthy lifestyle during the holiday season but with a little help from Jersey Shore University Medical Center you can get right back on track! Join us in Lance Auditorium located at 1945 Route 33, Neptune, on Saturday January 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for New Year New You, an informative and fun health fair complete with free screenings, speakers, and fitness and nutrition tips.

A nutrition lecture will be held at 11:00 a.m. and will include the top 10 Health Strategies for a New Year and a New You. Conducted by a Registered Dietitian, this informative discussion will address meal planning, healthy shopping and cooking, tips on eating out, dietary supplements, and more in order to make 2009 a healthier year for you and your family. In addition, important information on keeping bones and joints healthy and safe in the winter months as well as fitness strategies will be provided.
