The Joy Of Tea Presentation To Be Held At Manor By The Sea On April 29

Presentation to discuss the various health benefits of drinking tea

Drinking tea has long been considered an excellent way to improve one's health. Tea contains antioxidants, has been shown to reduce heart attack and stroke risk, and can even boost the immune system's power to better fight off infection.

Join Kristen H. Kristensen, Tea Coach and Certified Tea Specialist to find out what tea can do for your health. The Joy of Tea, an informative presentation, will be held on April 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Manor by the Sea in Ocean Grove.

Information on the health benefits of drinking different kinds of teas including Japanese, Camellia, and many herbal varieties will be provided. Additional information on the natural healing aspects of aroma, how certain types of tea taste, and even tips how to brew a perfect cup will be discussed. Kristen will explain the different effects tea can have on the mind, body, and spirit. Samples of teas along with tea sandwiches will be provided.

Parking and admission for this event are free. Manor by the Sea is located at 160 Main Street in Ocean Grove. Please call Sharyn Mooney at 732-481-8307 for more information, or if you would like to register.
