Annual Health Care Perspectives Luncheon Raises Funds To Support Meridian Health
19th Annual Health Care Perspectives luncheon raised funds to support Meridian Health not-for-profit hospitals and programsMeridian Health Affiliated Foundations 19th Annual Healthcare Perspectives Luncheon was held on May 7, at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch and raised in excess of $53,000 with over 330 guests in attendance. Annette Catino, President and CEO of QualCare, Inc., chaired this year's Luncheon.
The event benefited Meridian's not-for-profit hospitals which include Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital in Neptune, Ocean Medical Center in Brick, Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, Southern Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin, and community health programs in Monmouth and Ocean counties. This educational forum is held each year in order to enable local business leaders to learn about health care issues that have an impact on their companies and communities.
This year's keynote speakers were top executives from QualCare Inc. and included Sharon Seitzman, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Maureen Bueno, R.N., PhD., vice president of Care Management and Medical Informatics, and Allison Hoffmann, vice president of National and Large Group Accounts. Their presentation was entitled "Wellne$$ in the Workplace: How Wellness can Increase Your Bottom Line," and provided strategies that attendees could implement in their own organizations.
