Annual golf tournament raises funds to benefit cardiac surgery programsThe Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation will host its 21st Annual Open Heart Invitational on Tuesday, October 12, at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, with a shot gun start of 11:00 a.m. Last year's outing raised $45,000 with over 140 golfers participating.
The Open Heart Invitational has been raising significant funds for cardiac surgery programs at Jersey Shore University Medical Center since 1989 through the support of local businesses and communities. Golfers are invited for a great day of golf at one of the areas most exceptional golf courses, Metedeconk National Golf Club, followed by a cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Golfers and sponsors are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
