Dr. Bakhos, located in Red Bank, N.J., has extensive training in complex and revision hip and knee replacements and is specialized in Orthopedic Surgery, as well as fellowship trained in Adult Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Bakhos completed his medical degree at UNDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, N.J. where he graduated Alpha Omega with the National Honor Medical Society and was the Alumni Association Scholarship and J.T. Tai & Company Scholarship recipient. Following UMDNJ, Dr. Bakhos attended Tufts Affiliated Hospital, where he completed an orthopedic residency and continued on to complete a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Bakhos is associated with numerous professional associations such as American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and International Congress for Joint Reconstruction. In addition to these associations, Dr. Bakhos has wonderful research experience, having been published in Society for Neuroscience, as well as presenting in front of New England Baptist Hospital, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Tumor Society Annual Meeting, Chicago, IL.
Dr. Bakhos is a colleague of Dr. Janel Romello at Orthopaedic Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Center, P.A. and is excited to join the medical staff at Bayshore Community Hospital.
