Expert in vascular surgery joins region's top-ranked cardiovascular surgery programJersey Shore University Medical Center is proud to welcome M. Usman Nasir Khan, M.D., FACS, an expert in vascular surgery. Jersey Shore is home to the Meridian CardioVascular Network - one of the most respected comprehensive cardiovascular programs in New Jersey. Dr. Nasir Khan's areas of specialization cover the vascular field and include carotid stenting, thoracic and abdominal aneurysms, and minimally invasive clot removal.
Dr. Nasir Khan has vast research experience in vascular surgery, and has been a frequent presenter at national conferences and regional meetings. Dr. Nasir Khan has also written numerous publications and abstracts and has been recognized for his outstanding work with honors and awards, including the Silver Medal in Physiology and the Robert W. Painter Award for Outstanding Chief Surgical Resident. Dr. Nasir Khan's education includes fellowships from the University of Connecticut and University of New York at Buffalo, as well as residencies from the University of Connecticut.
