Meridian Health Institute for Evidence-Based Care's annual conference, Knowledge in Motion: Interdisciplinary Evidence-Based Care
We cannot afford, clinically or financially, to fail to go beneath the surface of today's issues. Obesity alone now costs payers over 75 billion dollars annually (Finkelstein, et al, 2009). The everyday impact on individuals is priceless.
Getting to the Root of it All!
This year's Meridian Health Institute for Evidence-Based Care's Annual Conference will address the evidence on managing the root causes of many of our most pressing health care problems today.
The overall objective for this program is to discuss the evidence of key topics underlying some of health care's most challenging problems. This program will offer knowledge on current best practices in clinical as well as health service research topics. The conference will explore the evidence on the clinical areas of obesity, tobacco cessation, and sleep promotion. Health system topics include the use of advanced practice nurses (APNs), managing transitions of care, and health coaching. Come learn those practices to help us improve care.
The Conference will be held for medical professionals on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Oyster Point Hotel, Red Bank, NJ. The cost is $135 for Non-Meridian Attendees and $100 for Meridian Team Members/Affiliated Physicians. For more information, including how to register, visit www.MeridianIEBC.com/Annual-Conference.
