Ninth Annual Friends on the Bay Reception Planned for October 12

Annual Event Will Raise Funds for Ocean Medical Center and Ocean Care Center

The Guild of Ocean Medical Center is hosting its Ninth Annual Friends on the Bay event on October 12, 2013. The evening will feature open bar cocktails, dinner buffet with Tuscany-style tapas, live music, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a 50/50 raffle.

The event will honor Bradley Pulver, M.D., medical director of Ocean Medical Center's Department of Emergency Services, and his emergency room team for their dedication and community service during and after Hurricane Sandy.

"Friends on the Bay offers us the opportunity to raise funds for Ocean Medical Center and Ocean Care Center's equipment and services that will benefit patient care," says Co-Chairs Susan and Ernie Scherler and Priscilla and Carl Hiby. The Friends on the Bay committee boasts 20 members from Monmouth and Ocean counties, who are grateful for the physicians and hospital commitment to the community. They share in the pleasure of advocating for the medical experts and generating community support for the medical center.

Friends on the Bay will be held on Saturday, October 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Manasquan River Golf Club, 843 Riverview Drive, Brielle. Tickets cost $125 each and proceeds will benefit Ocean Medical Center and the Ocean Care Center. Dress is elegant casual. Please RSVP by October 5 to 732-278-6444.
