Meridian Expands Marketplace Offerings
Oscar recently added as another Tier One providerThis year, the Federal Marketplace open enrollment began on November 15, 2014 and will end on February 15, 2015. Meridian is a participating provider with Health Republic of New Jersey and is a Tier One provider with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and AmeriHealth. In addition, Meridian is pleased to announce that we are now participating with Oscar as a Tier One provider, a recently established health insurance company. Tier One products offer members the lowest cost alternative to health care.
Oscar recently partnered with QualCare to give members access to QualCare's top quality HMO network; they are now offering health plans to New Jersey residents in nine counties, including Monmouth and Ocean counties, both on and off the New Jersey Health Insurance Exchange.
"We welcome Oscar to the plans that we accept on the Marketplace," says Terry Manna, vice president of Managed Care at Meridian Health. "It's important for us to provide patients with more choices to access the health care services throughout Meridian."
