Southern Ocean Medical Center to Benefit from 'Driven to Give' Event on June 7
The Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation will be the beneficiary of money raised during the "Lincoln Driven to Give" event taking place on June 7, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen's Museum. The event is taking place in conjunction with the Privateers and Pirate Festival.
The "Lincoln Driven to Give" initiative is made possible through the gracious support of the Causeway Family of Dealerships. Lincoln will make a donation to Southern Ocean Medical Center for each legally registered driver who takes a free test drive of a Lincoln vehicle.
Each registered driver who would like to get the feel of driving a Lincoln while supporting a worthy cause will be entered into a drawing to receive a very special "Lincoln Date Night" package which will include the use of a Lincoln for a 24 to 48 hour complimentary drive and a $100 Visa award card, courtesy of Lincoln.
"We are very excited to partner with the Causeway Family of Dealerships, and specifically Causeway Lincoln, in addition to our wonderful friends at the Tuckerton Seaport. This event showcases two wonderful charitable organizations in one day," says Deborah Allen, executive director of the Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation.
Lincoln offers the Driven to Give program in recognition of charitable organizations who act as the foundation of our nation's well-being and economic stability. Recognizing the important role of fundraising organizations, this is a philanthropic opportunity to connect Lincoln dealers with their community efforts. Lincoln established the Driven To Give program, where test-driving a Lincoln vehicle can result in funds for charitable organizations.
The funds raised through the June 7 event will be utilized to enhance patient care services offered at Southern Ocean Medical Center through the Foundation. "The Driven to Give program is a way the entire community can support the hospital, it is free to participate, and it is in conjunction with a wonderful community event at the Tuckerton Seaport. We sincerely thank our friends at the Causeway Family of Dealerships, and Lincoln, for their support towards the health of our community" said Allen.
