Cardiac Rehabilitation and Imaging Now Open at Meridian Health Village at Jackson

Meridian Health Village at Jackson is once again "turning on the lights" with the opening of Meridian Cardiac Rehabilitation and Imaging. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program provides a range of recovery and post-recovery services to speed up a patient's recuperation, while minimizing their symptoms, increasing their cardiovascular endurance, and improving their quality of life.

Services available include EKG, Holter monitor, echocardiograms, vascular ultrasound, and more. Cardiac rehabilitation is recognized as an essential factor in recovering from heart disease, and consists of medically supervised exercise, nutrition counseling and education programs that are intended to strengthen the heart. Patients who may be eligible for cardiac rehabilitation include those recovering from a heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, valve surgery, angioplasty, congestive heart failure, as well as individuals who have cardiovascular risk factors, such as smoking, obesity, stress, sedentary lifestyle, high cholesterol and triglycerides, diabetes, or electrocardiogram abnormalities along with another cardiac diagnosis.

Meridian Health Village at Jackson is a "one stop shop" for better health and wellness.
