Free Medicare Information Sessions Offered

During the month of September, informational sessions will be offered for those who are either new to Medicare, or would like to learn more about Medicare and their current coverage options. The sessions will provide Medicare beneficiaries with information prior to Medicare’s Annual Election Period (AEP). The AEP, which begins October 15 and ends December 7, allows individuals eligible for Medicare to apply, change or opt out of a Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plan.

Upcoming Sessions:

September 21
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Meridian Fitness and Wellness, Hazlet
1420 NJ-36, Hazlet

September 25
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Meridian Community Resource Center at Freehold Raceway Mall

The sessions will be hosted by Meridian Health and Geisinger Health Plan. Meridian Health and Geisinger Health Plan have collaborated to make Geisinger Gold - a nationally recognized, provider-sponsored Medicare Advantage product - available to seniors in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
