Joseph Lemaire Named 2015 CFO of the Year by NJBIZJoseph Lemaire, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Meridian Health, was recently selected by NJBIZ, a leading New Jersey business journal, for its 2015 CFO of the Year Award.
The NJBIZ awards program annually celebrates New Jersey’s financial executives who contribute to the success of New Jersey’s economic growth and stability.
Lemaire was recognized in the “Healthcare Organization” category at a breakfast ceremony held in Somerset, NJ. In his capacity as CFO, Lemaire also oversees Meridian’s partner companies, ranging from home health services to outpatient centers. In a very short time, he has helped Meridian achieve its best financial performance in history.

The CFO of the Year awards program celebrates New Jersey’s financial executives at all levels who contribute to the success of New Jersey’s economic growth and stability. Finalists were selected in six categories: Public Company, Private Company with revenues up to $50MM, Private Company with revenues over $50MM, Nonprofit Organization, Healthcare Organization and Best Growth Manager.
Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Ken R. Drossman, Oak & Apple Partners LLC; Travis Epp, EisnerAmper LLP; David Huber, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ; and Warren Tranquada, New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
