Mary Brighton MS, RDN, is a Registered Dietitian and French trained Culinary Nutritionist with more than 20 years’ experience. She believes that how you eat is as important as what you eat. Through her training and cultural sensitivity she supports and guides all ages and budgets to achieve and maintain optimal health by using real food and mindful meals as medicine. Mary received her Economics degree from Rutgers University and her Master’s Degree in Nutrition with interdisciplinary concentration in Exercise Physiology from Colorado State University. Recently she moved back to New Jersey after spending fifteen years living in France where she wrote a health blog and taught nutrition and cooking workshops. In 2014 she was awarded a scholarship to attend Le Cordon Bleu and Hautes Etudes du Gout (Institute of Higher Studies in Taste) where she completed a French-based degree in gastronomy and taste education. Mary brings her passion for eating well and living better as an Integrative Nutritionist for Hackensack Meridian Integrative Health & Medicine.
