Pediatric Sleep Center

Although children often outgrow sleep problems, symptoms affecting sleep can be persistent and troublesome. In some cases, they may even be signs of a serious sleep disorder.  Many of these symptoms can be successfully diagnosed and treated through careful assessment and development of a personalized treatment plan.

At K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital, making sure your child gets a healthy night’s sleep is as important to us as it is to you, which is why we provide specialized diagnoses and treatment  for a range of pediatric sleep conditions, including sleep apnea, insomnia and daytime sleepiness.

Our pediatric sleep program offers the expertise of a board-certified sleep specialist to help diagnose sleep disorders and potentially related neurological conditions.

Under the care of Lewis Milrod, M.D., a board-certified sleep specialist and neurologist specializing in clinical neurophysiology, our pediatric patients are ensured the utmost care, compassion and expertise.

Our team of sleep experts will help determine if your child has a sleep disorder, or another type of neurological condition.

K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital is the first pediatric sleep program in the region, backed by research and dedication from our physicians and nurses.

More than half of food-related illness outbreaks are caused by unwashed or poorly washed hands, says the American Society for Microbiology. Outbreaks of hepatitis A in children in daycare centers have been directly connected to lack of handwashing after changing diapers or using the bathroom.
