Children’s Health Fair and Teddy Bear Clinic

Have a stuffed animal with a rip or tear? Or perhaps just needs a check-up? Grab your buddy and head to the Teddy Bear Clinic at Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s annual Community Day celebration and 5k run/walk.

This year’s event will feature a teddy bear clinic as a fun opportunity for children to meet the care team and learn about various departments of the hospital. Have a stuffed friend that can use a little TLC?

Our caregivers will be ready to repair stuffed animals’ boo-boos with first aid supplies, stuffing and stitches. A nurse will also take the time to measure and weigh the stuffed friends, which will be recorded on certificates that each child will receive to take home.

If you don’t have a stuffed friend with you, that’s okay. Kids can still participate, get a cool colored arm cast, and learn about safety, eating right and staying active.

Join us for a fun filled family day of:

  • Moon bounces and inflatables
  • Food and refreshments
  • Music
  • Games
  • Door prizes and giveaways
  • Doctor Bernard and the Pawsitive Action Team!
  • And more!
