Annual golf tournament raises funds to benefit cardiac surgery programs

The Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation will host its 20th Annual Open Heart Invitational on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Metedeconk National Golf Course in Jackson, NJ with a shot gun time of 11:00 a.m.

Since 1989, through the support of both local businesses and communities the Open Heart Invitational has been raising significant funds for cardiac surgery programs at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. This year's event chairman, Norman V. Buttaci, formerly Senior Vice President of TD Bank, and his committee invite everyone to become partners in supporting cardiac services at Jersey Shore University Medical Center at this outstanding event. Golfers are invited for a great day of golf at one of the areas most exceptional golf courses, Metedeconk National Golf Course, followed by a cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Golfers and sponsors are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
