Pink Bank Is Here!
Come Out and Support Breast Cancer Awareness through the Annual Paint the Town Pink WeekRiverview Medical Center and Red Bank RiverCenter, are proud to bring you a bigger and "pinker" Paint the Town Pink in 2009! Beginning May 2nd, Red Bank will be transformed into "Pink Bank," for Paint the Town Pink, a week-long community wide event to raise awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
Now in its third year, Paint the Town Pink was created with the goal to encourage the women aged 40 and older to pledge to have their annual mammogram, as well as raise money to provide mammography to the uninsured and underserved in our community. Through a a variety of special events, support and in-store specials from Red Bank business, a Pink Your House contest, and involvement from community groups; this year's Paint the Town Pink will be "bigger and pinker" than ever before!
The schedule of events includes:
May 2: Spring into Pink Bank! A shopping event in and around Pink Bank with participating Pink Partners (all ages)
May 3: Paint Everything Pink 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Riverview Medical Center Parking Lot (family event)
May 6: Pretty in Pink Screening 6:00 p.m. Count Basie Theatre with a post-screening event at the Broadway Diner (14 and older)
May 6: Girls Night Out 7:00 p.m. The Downtown (21 and older)
May 7: Soul Sister Party with Dana Cowin, Editor in Chief, Food & Wine magazine 7:00 p.m. Children's Cultural Center (21 and older)
May 8: Band Together for Survival 7:30 p.m. Count Basie Theatre (all ages) A star-studded night including performances by Ryan Cabrera, John Kelley, Jeffrey Gaines, Grey Eye Glances, and Outside the Box
