Lakewood Primary Care Now Open on Rt. 70 and Accepting New Patients
Cynthia Genovese, M.D. and Elizabeth Salcedo, M.D. are most recent physicians to join the exceptional medical staff at Ocean Medical CenterFamily Medicine physician Cynthia Genovese, M.D. and Internist Elizabeth Salcedo, M.D. have joined the medical staff of Ocean Medical Center and opened a new office on Route 70 in Lakewood. They each bring extensive experience to the community.
Their new practice, Lakewood Primary Care, is focused on family medicine, which treats seniors, adults, and children over age seven. Both doctors are dedicated to the quality care of each and every one of their patients and are committed to making their practice convenient and accessible.
Dr. Genovese and Dr. Salcedo treat a variety of illnesses and provide many services, including employee physicals, EKGs, on-site blood-work, ear irrigation/earwax removal, vision screening, and vaccines.

Dr. Genovese is board certified in family medicine and brings valuable experience in providing personalized care to Lakewood Primary Care. Her knowledge and positive approach to health stems from her education at the University of Bologna School of Medicine in Italy and her post-medical school training at Bryn Mawr Hospital, where she completed both an internship and her residency training. Dr. Genovese's interests include pediatrics, sports medicine, preventive medicine, and nutrition.
Dr. Salcedo is board certified in internal medicine and brings over 18 years of experience to Lakewood Primary Care. A graduate of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical School in the Philippines, Dr. Salcedo completed her residency training at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ.
She specializes and has extensive experience in the management of complex medical conditions in adults. Additionally, her other interests include preventive screening and the care of the geriatric population.
